Steps

  • Dissolve sugar in lemon juice at bottom of a large goblet or double Old Fashioned glass.
  • Add cognac, Madeira and water.
  • Add large ice cubes and stir to chill.
  • Coil lemon peel inside the glass.
  • Grate nutmeg on top.
